Scope of Work
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Provide onsite support to monitor and input computer data into automated systems.
- Place material orders for parts, supplies, and services as required in support of various Combat Systems Programs.
- Track all items in a computer database as to date ordered, shipped, and received. Signing for receipt when items are received and ensuring items are transferred to the individual who submitted the requisition.
- Maintain communication with the DLA customer account specialists, supply support center personnel, business office and financial departments.
- Tracking of ship repair parts data related to the Combat Systems Division to be processed along with Material Condition Review results using computer software to maintain spreadsheets, reports and databases.
- Perform program support tasks and related services necessary to prepare, update, and maintain various presentation packages consisting of charts, spreadsheets, graphs, handouts.
- Develop and maintain various government controlled off-line databases and Internet Web databases in support of various programs and track and document trends and program effectiveness.
- Develop comparative analysis optimization procedures within program parameters using diagnostic trend data.
Qualifications Required for the Position
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and clearing necessary background checks/assessments as required. Active high-level Security Clearance will be required, and current Security Clearance is desired.
- Target Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing programmatic and liaison support. Minimum of 2 years specialized experience in the use of Material (MAT) and Material Requirements (MRQT) software systems. Minimum of 2 years specialized experience in the use of One-Touch, DoD EMALL, HAYSTACK, LOGICOM, and WEBFLIS to research supply issues.
- Possess written and verbal communications skills sufficient to create reports (utilizing Microsoft Office Power Point and Word) used to conduct business and resolve scheduling/milestone date conflicts for various customers.
- Proficiency in analyzing data using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access Databases.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of military and civilian personnel.
- Physical requirements for efficient navigation aboard US Navy ships includes possessing the physical stamina, strength, agility, and endurance to walk continuously for extended periods of time without experiencing significant fatigue, adequate upper and lower-body strength necessary to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and work aloft, and agility necessary to enter/exit confined spaces (tanks, voids, and spaces/compartments with manhole access).
